GET READY FOR 2021

This time be more prepared. Will 2020 be the “Year of Digital Realisation?”

If it is, then 2021 will be a digital-led recovery from COVID-19. We all have a digital future lies ahead.

By acting early and being bold and decisive, go full digital with an ECO and sustainability mind. We do not want the nature to strike back again, for example, Disease X, a new unknown disease that could cause a future epidemic, should be seen as a serious threat to drive preparedness - as it will be highly infectious, deadlier than Covid-19 and will mutate easily, said local health experts.

Now we look back, 2020 has been an eventful year for almost every business around the world. The spread of Covid-19 has altered the face of many industries, bringing about long-lasting change and shifting consumers / customer expectations.

But for us, adapting our daily lifestyle in the face of the pandemic was the second of two significant chapters in the story of modern day digital transformation.

Little did we know that just weeks after this recovery, we would be set another challenge in the form of Covid-19.

A proactive response to Covid-19

Less than 3 months of "work from home", "learn from home", "home-based learning", many parents already understand the issue of screen time for kids and adults. How long can you work, study and long hours staring at monitor screens, mobile device screens or tablets screen..? Study on LCD screen for kids 8 hours a day, every day for the next 10 years? Stuck at home, we still need to ensure a safe working environment for our family members, at the same time be more flexible and responsive to our changing lifestyle at home!

But these challenges have not just been ours to face. We understand that everyone has a duty to work on in 2021 or from this year, and Amtech believe that by working together, we can come back stronger.

Looking ahead to 2021

In recent months, we have made realise a significant update of digital reading with our products, thus Amtech is developing our service center and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of service for our customers. This includes improving our website layout with online store, advancing our engineer skillset with more trainings and quality equipment, further increasing capacity, and introducing additional services and digital bundle (stay-safe product line) to provide digital migration for our new customer to switch from LCD screens to E-ink/E-paper screens. Get ready for full paperless digital age. Be more prepared this time for a new digital age.

In practice, that means each of our customers can expect value added after-sales service and supply with higher standards of e-ink products/eReaders available to our new digital reading industry. Amtech always aim to provide value to society.

In the new year, and when it is safe to do so, we would like to welcome customers back to see our improved services and product placements in our 2021 road-shows and digital reading workshops.
